Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

$40 for AYCE hot pot is a great price. Their beef was great, many options to choose (we luv spicy beef & beef tongue). Simple sauce bar and their broth was uhh quite bland but itβs alright if you can cook great sauces! We came when they opened and got seated right away on the weekends.

The overall quality of food was very questionable. The corn we got seemed spoiled. The skewers (which were not bbqed like advertised but deepfried) were blend, barely topped with garlic, no cummin, no chili, which are the base spices for chinese skewers. On top of a questionable service (we had to ask couples times for water refill or napkin), the waitress ended up puking in a bucket next to our table (which they didn't clean up afterward). When we complained, they asked if we wanted to switch tables but our apetite was gone. But the slap on the face was when they gave us a bare 10% discount. Never ever coming back.

Haven't been to the LaoJie for a while but I don't remember not enjoying my meal at all. Don't get me wrong the service is great but the food was not good. Came by an hour before they close on a Friday night, for the just hot pot AYCE. I ordered the mushroom broth and I didn't like it, it tasted more like msg and you see the mushroom in it. Their beef had a weird taste. The rest of the adds on was okay, but because the meat, it kind of ruin the appetite. I don't think I will return to this location.

First time trying hotpot was here at LaoJie. It was amazing seated immediately and great all you can eat prices. I recommend you get the hotpot and skewer combo. They also have amazing milk teas to order. The staff all around was quick and attentive to fill up drinks, broth, and ask if we wanted more meat and veggies. Overall I really loved this place

Itβs here for this cold weather. You must not miss the delicious shabu and grill on a cold day. The meat is fresh, clean, delicious, and quality. The staff is lovely and take good care of every move. He will always take care of you. Describe the beautiful, quiet, clean shop. And finally, you will be able to wash your mouth with delicious desserts that are not on the menu. Of course, it is another point that I will definitely have to come back to eat. And you guys miss and enjoy a good restaurant like this?
